Free SVG Cut File | Small Sunflower & Giant Paper Sunflower
Welcome back crafters, I have been working on these cute paper sunflowers. And just like my other Paper Flower Templates, this one comes with a printable PDF template and SVG, PNG, DXF cutting files.
Below I will share some pictures of how to make the small and giant sunflower. Here are the supplies I used:
- 8.5×11 65lb yellow card stock
- 12×12 brown glitter card stock
- 12×12 brown cardstock
- Glue stick
- Glue gun/sticks
- 6in circle backing for giant paper flower
- Cricut Explore Air 2
For one small sunflower:
You need 2 sheets of yellow card stock, one glitter brown card stock and one regular brown card stock.
For the giant paper flower:
You will need 6 yellow card stock, I fit 3 petals on one 8.5×11 sheet. You will need 16 petals total; One brown glitter card stock and one regular brown card stock. You make these with the same concept as my other paper flower tutorial.
Watch how I assemble the giant paper sunflower below. (Excuse my 10 year old camera man lol).

Thank you for a wonderful free template, worked like a charm for my daughter’s sunflowers and bees themed first bee-day.
This is gorgeous thankuou
Beautiful. I’m new to cricut but I love your flowers. I’m going to attempt them as a Easter gift for my grand daughter’s room. Thank you for all the great SVG. I’ll have to spend a few hours looking thru your blog. I can’t wait to see what I find.
Thank you for sharing your time, effort and creativity. ??
What size did you make the petals and the center pieces?
I was wondering the same thing.
The SVG is already sized to what I made it as. Simply insert SVG file type into cricut to view size. I made this while ago and I forgot the exact inches.
Email if you would like help. Thank you!
can these be done using felt fabric instead of paper?
I’m sure it can, if your machine can cut it.
Hi,
I tried downloading the file multiple times to get the SVG for the small sunflower, but it doesn’t show up. I only see PNG, EPS, and DXF.
The 4th file must be it, sometimes the SVG gets converted to an HTML DOC. It will work the same just upload to DS. For more info visit my Q&A PAGE.
