It’s Spooky Season and today I’m going to share with you my oldest son’s past birthday party! I threw this Halloween party far before I started blogging and before I owned my first Cricut Machine. Every year for 10 years, I planned an over the top birthday party for my son, he was born in 2007. And this party was for is 7th birthday!
I did this for all my kids but I have definitely slowed down when my 5th child was born in 2017! Her name is Audrey, and you can see her birthday parties HERE. Her most popular birthday was her 1st birthday, She’s a Sweet ONE Fruit Party!
I decided to make it a point to share my best past party ideas with you! To start, in honor of spooky season, I decide to share this Frankenstein Halloween Birthday Party!
To make sure everyone made it to this spooky birthday party, I designed this Boy Frankenstein Birthday Invitation. I have it available to purchase is my Shop.
For my son’s Halloween birthday cake, I made a Frankenstein Head. For his spooky treats to fill the dessert table I made ghost and Frankenstein heads out of dipped marshmallows and placed them on a stick.
For the cupcakes, I had a tiered tray of Pumpkin Spice One-Eyed cupcakes, S’mores Burnt Ghost Heads cupcakes and Bloody Brains Strawberry cupcakes! They were delicious and fun to look at!
As Thank you treats, for guest to take home, I had packaged Halloween Candy Apples and Halloween Sugar Cookies! I added a Frankenstein Thank you Tag to each item. It says, “Thank you for a Spooky Time!” I have these available as a free download at the end of this post!
For the centerpieces, I used Pumpkin Jack-o-lantern Candy Buckets and place a paper witch hat on top of the opening. I also personalized the witch hat by adding a Frankenstein “Happy 7th Birthday Edward” label. I included this label as well in the free download so you can personalize it to your own party! I left a blank space for you to fill in. The format is a PNG for Cricut’s print and cut. Or a 8.5×11 Jpeg file so you can cut by hand!
Of course a Frankenstein Halloween party wouldn’t be completed without the Bride of Frankenstein!
For my dessert table backdrop, I hanged a black and white striped curtain and added some Halloween decorations and banners. For the big Frankenstein head cut out, I used a 24×36 board and wrapped it in a lime green plastic table cloth cover. I used black poster boards to hand cut his hair and stiches. I found the big googly eyes from Michael’s!
I hope you enjoyed this Frankenstein Halloween Party Idea! Make sure to grab your free download below! Thanks for stopping by!
