Hello my crafting buddies! I hope everyone has been staying safe and crafting their stress away!
I have a Cricut Easypress Mini project for you today! I finally got a hold of this cute mini, and I absolutely love it! It’s little compact shape is so helpful for those hard to reach spots.
I’m going to share with you one of my projects I did with my Easypress Mini. I turned my plain ol’ flip flops into beach ready!!
Here is a list of supplies you will need:
- Cricut Explore Machine
- Cricut Easypress Mini (Amazon)
- Cricut Holographic Iron-on (Amazon)
- Flip flops (Old Navy)
- Feelin’ Beachy SVG
- parachment paper (optional)
Once you have all your supplies gathered, measure the surface of where you want your design to go.
Next, Re-size your Feelin Beachy SVG to the correct size. Mine was a 3 inch space so I chose to make my decal at 2.5 inches. For HTV or Iron-on vinyl make sure to mirror your image before you cut!
Now you can heat up your Easypress Mini. I did mine on the second level of heat, but you may use level three if your HTV requires more heat. It will light green once it reaches the right temperature.
Next I used a small piece of parchment paper to protect other parts of my flip flop from touching the iron directly. I pressed down firmly for 15 seconds. I did this 3 times. Then I removed the paper and clear transfer sheet.
Now you have beach ready flip flops!! Make some for this summer, for a bride and her bridesmaids, 2020 graduates!!! And there is no stopping there, try it on your short sleeve shirts, pockets, shoes, stuff animals, and more…
