Next, ungroup the SVG file and select the wording group and click attach. You may also change any layer colors to your liking.
Lastly, click MAKE, and cut 65lb cardstock on light cardstock for the Maker, or Cardstock + for the Explore. For the wording, you can use vinyl if you prefer. My Get Well Soon Topper has a total of 11 layers, you can minimize the cardstock sheets by merging like colors, like yellow and greens.
Assemble Layered Topper
Once you have all layers cut out, you can begin to assemble. Make sure to organize and face each layer the correct way before you begin.
Next, weed off the vinyl wording and use transfer tape to apply it to the front of the white banner. Then, layer the 3 paper banner pieces on top of each other with foam tape.
After, move on to the 4 sunflower layers. Stacking them together with foam tape as well.
Next, arrange the 3 back green layers in the correct order to match up with the banner. Apply foam tape in between each green layer.
Now, take the assemble sunflower and adhere it to the stacked green leaf layers. Apply a double layer to the back of the banner and line it up to the green banner outline.
Lastly, add a wooden skewer in between the back green layers and you’re done!
