How to Make a Giant Paper Flower | Tutorial

Hello, I was getting a lot of request to see a video on how I put together my free Paper Flower Templates. So here you go! Below you will also find a list of supplies you will need to create gaint paper flowers.  Along with a list of the different sizes flowers you can create. And how many flower petals you need for each.

Supplies needed for Giant Paper Flowers

• Cricut Cutting Machine(optional)
• Flower Template
• 8.5×11 cardstock, (I use Recollection 65 lb from Michael’s)
• Scissors
• Smooth thick marker
• Hot glue gun & glue sticks
• 6in cardboard circles (I use 6in cake boards) or 4in for small paper flower
• Floral wire

Paper Flower Sizes and Petal Count

You will get 4 different flower petal sizes, x-small, small, medium & large.

Large Flower (16in)

• 5 large petals
• 5 medium petals
• 5 small petals
• x-small not needed

Medium Flower (14in)

• large petals not need
• 5 medium petals
• 5 small petals
• 5 x-small

Small Flower(12in)

• large petals not needed
• medium petals not needed
• 10 small petals
• 4/5 x-small petals

 

Cut out Paper Flower Templates

1. Use the PDF file to print out each template on plain cardstock.
2. Cut it out and trace the template onto colored cardstock.
3. Cut out the colored cardstock trace and organize them by size.
4. Use a thick marker to curl the tips of the petals.
