Love to Teach Confetti Tumbler for Teacher’s Gift

Hey Crafting buddies! Today I have a fun project to share that you can make for teachers.  With Valentine’s Day and Teachers Appreciation Day coming up, this will make a great gift for your child’s teacher! You just need your Cricut or cutting machine.

Here are the plastic tumblers I used from Amazon.  They are color changing confetti  cups.  They are the same size as Starbucks 24oz cups.  When they are room temp or warm the confetti is white and when added a cold drink they confetti turns to many colors. These color changing tumblers are so cute and can be used with many Starbucks wrap SVG designs.

To get started, I measured my cup to see how big the surface is for my SVG design.  For this cup, I figured 3.5 inches is a good size width for my SVG. And it can’t be any longer then 6 inches.

The SVG design I used is my LOVE TO TEACH SVG. Remember you must login to be able to download my SVG files.

Once you download the SVG upload it to design space and resize it for your cup. If you need help finding the SVG please read my Q & A page.  I want my width of my SVG to be 3.5 inches so I change it up top in the SIZE W section.  Next you need to ungroup the SVG, to do that you need to right-click on it and select ungroup.

Select these groups with the red arrow pointed to it (see image below) and attach each group separately.  These way it will cut in one piece and not get mixed up.

This SVG has 13 different colors and you will have to layer and piece it together by hand. I found it easy to layer the letter L, E, V first then assemble the rest by hand on the cup. Measure one inch down from the top of cup and place the L and apple there. Then the V and E directly under that. Start the T in “To” off to the left under the V. Then you can place each letter after that.

You can also change the colors of the SVG to use less colors but I personally love how colorful it is!! I hope you enjoyed and get to try out this project idea for a Teacher’s Gift. Add this Cup Care Label to complete your gift!
