Hey my crafty people! Today I’m going to show you how to make these cute acrylic keychains! They are great for Valentine’s Day, Teacher Appreciation Day, and any other special occasion.
You can make these acrylic keychains one of two ways using your Cricut Machine and UV Resin! As you can see from the image below, you can make these using print then cut white waterslide decal paper or layered vinyl!
In my video tutorial below, I am going to show you how to make both ways. Make sure you watch the full tutorial on YouTube or at the bottom of this post.
I get these blanks from Zindee.com, they are famous for their acrylic blanks, that come in many shapes and sizes. Today I will be using their 3inch Smiley Blank. Each blank from their website comes with it’s own cut file. You can use it to apply your blank, some crafters get really creative and add their own design to it. And that’s what I’m doing here, I made this alternative SVG design for their 3inch Smiley blank. I turned it into a Disney inspired Donut Mickey Mouse Head. Sharrell from Zindee’s Facebook Group was kind enough to allow me to be a Approved Seller of SVG files for her blanks! You can find all my Zindee Blank SVG Files in my Etsy Shop!
You can find my Donut Mouse Head SVG for the Zindee’s Smiley 3inch blank in my Shop and at the bottom of this post!
Here is a list of Supplies:
- Cricut Explore Air 2
- Zindees’s 3″ Smiley Blank
- Donut Mouse Head SVG
- Vinyl
- White Water-slide Paper
- UV Resin
- UV Lamp 120W
- Keychain Hardware
- Glitter Rose gold Chunky/Circus
Making these keychains with White Water-slide Decal Paper works great if you don’t have a certain color vinyl or if the SVG design has alot of layers that you aren’t up to cutting. It’s a nice alternative to cutting vinyl.
