How to Make Cricut Print Then Cut Stickers

Supplies Needed:

Cricut machine (Explore, Maker, or Joy)
Printable sticker paper (matte or glossy, depending on preference)
Inkjet printer
Standard Grip mat
PNG images (download at end of post)

Step-by-Step Instructions

Open Design Space
Launch Cricut Design Space and start a new project.
Upload Your Design
Click “Upload,” then choose your sticker design PNG file. Select “Complex” for image type, then save as a Flat Graphic.
Prepare for Print Then Cut
Once uploaded:
- Resize your design to the sticker dimensions you want. I prefer 2 or 3 inches.
- Make sure each sticker design is set as a “Print Then Cut” image.
Repeat or Duplicate
Repeat for all 6 sticker designs. Select each sticker and duplicate to make more than one.
Print Your Stickers
Click “Make It” > “Send to Printer.”
- Choose your printer.
- Select “Use System Dialog” for more printer options and change settings to High Quailty print.
- Load your printable sticker paper into your inkjet printer and print.
Place Printed Sheet on Cricut Mat
Once printed, place your sticker sheet on a standard grip cutting mat. Align it carefully and smooth out any bubbles.
Load Mat into Cricut
Load the mat into your Cricut machine.
Select Material & Cut Settings
In Design Space, choose the material type that matches your sticker paper (usually “Sticker Paper” or “Printable Vinyl”). Adjust pressure if needed.
Cut Your Stickers
Click “Go” in Design Space to let your Cricut read the registration marks and cut each sticker precisely.
Remove and Use Stickers
Carefully peel your stickers off the mat.
