Mother’s Day Purse Gift Card Holder Free SVG

Welcome back crafters, today I going to share with you how to make this gorgeous Mother’s day purse gift card holder! Just with a little bit of cardstock and glue, you can have this adorable gift ready for Mother’s day, just add their favorite retailer gift card! Best part, I will be adding this template to my Forever Free Files section.

Here are a few supplies you need to make this Mother’s day purse gift card holder. Crafting tip to make a flawless cardstock purse, is to use double-sided pattern cardstock and foil/metallic cardstock! This will line your purse with a cute pattern on the inside and give your buckles a chrome look with foil cardstock!

Supplies:
- Cricut Machine
- Mother’s day purse SVG
- 65lb cardstock
- pattern cardstock (6×6 florals)
- foil cardstock
- Adhesive Velcro Dots
- Adhesive (tape runner, craft glue, hot glue)
- Cricut tools
First, download my Free Mother’s Day Purse SVG. After zipped folder is downloaded, find it in your download’s folder on your device. Right-click on folder and hit “Extract All”, and save to the same location.
Upload the SVG file type to Design Space and resize it to the correct size. Make sure your lock icon is on lock and resize the width to 7.237 inches. Then ungroup and change the colors of the layers to fit your project.
Ungroup the Happy Mother’s Day circle label and select the text layer to change the color, then select both the text layer and white circle and click Flatten. This will make it a print and cut image.
Once your ready to cut click Make It, and for the Print and Cut mat, make sure to turn on system dialog and change your printer setting to high. Next place print on the mat and cut on Cardstock+.
After you cut out all your shapes, we can begin to layer each shapes together with tape runner. For full instructions on how to assemble the purse, please watch my tutorial video below.
