DIY Pool Party Ideas with Free SVG Cut Files – Pool Party Cut Outs

Hey there my crafting buddies, today I bring you a bunch of free SVG files for this summers pool party! Every month me and my blogger friends put together a themed collection of free SVG files to make your DIY project easier.  Summer is coming and you can get ready for your next pool party with these cool pool party ideas!

Check out all these fun summer pool party ideas you can make with your cutting machine. Pool party ideas for kids and adults, you will definitely find a SVG design you can use. Make kids their pool party t-shirt, invitation or photo props.  For the adults you can make funny t-shirts, can koozies or pool party decorations!

I designed these fun Pool Party Cut Outs, great for photo booth props or to add to your centerpieces.  My Pool Party SVG file is designed for layering cardstock, I’m sure a touch of glitter cardstock would look amazing as well.  In my download you will get flip flops, ice cream, beach ball and a pink flamingo floaty.  I include a printable PDF you can print and cut by hand, for those who don’t have a Cricut cutting machine.

In this post I will show you how to layer my Pool Party Cut Outs and give you a list of supplies needed. The Pool Party SVG download will remain Free Forever in my Free Files Section. PROJECT SUPPLY LIST:

• Cricut machine
• Pool Party Cut Outs SVG
• Cardstock
• Foam tape/foam dots
• wooden skewer or straw
• hot glue

Here is a look at all the color cardstock I used.  I have 2 shades of tans, 2 shades of yellows, 2 shades of blue, 3 shades of pink and a black and white.  You can also use the same color of shades, to cut down on so many different colors. I just like to give it more depth with color.  The color choice is up to you when using the SVG.  You can change the colors in Cricut Design Space.

 

After you upload the SVG file to Design Space, you can Select the SVG and make sure its the correct size.  (8.2×10.915 inches).  Next you can ungroup to select each layer and change the color. Then you are ready to cut on CARDSTOCK+.

 

Use foam tape or foam dots to layer each piece on top of each other.  It’s best to organize your cut out first before you tape them down to make sure you have them facing the correct way.  Refer to the SVG in Design Space while you arrange your pieces together.

 

For the ice cream pops, the pink pop in the back is a smaller size, so make sure to layer it in the correct spot when taping it down.

 

Once you have all the cut outs layered together, you can use hot glue to stick them to a wooden skewer or straw. Add them to a jar for a cute centerpiece or to use as photo props.
