Valentine’s Day Money Card Holder | Free SVG Cut File

Welcome back Crafters. Valentine’s day is coming up quick and I have another money sleeve designs for you!! I had a request to make a Valentine’s day themed money card holder.  My money sleeve holders are really simple and easy to make. and are always a great last mint gift idea.

I made this Valentine’s day money sleeve SVG a little different then my other money sleeve designs.  This money holder has score lines instead of cut fold lines. I got some feed back saying they didn’t care for the rough edges or theirs came out looking to jagged. So I opted for regular score lines for the tabs. I also added a closing flap to make the money holder more secure.

Supplies needed for Valentine’s Day Money Sleeve:

• Cricut Machine
• Valentine’s Day Money Sleeve SVG (bottom of post)
• Cardstock (pink 8.5×11 65lb)
• Vinyl (foil red, foil gold)
• Cricut Scoring Stylus
• Cricut Weeding tool
• Cricut Scraper
• scissors
• transfer tape
• Tape runner or craft glue

 

 

How to Assemble Money Sleeve

You can download the free Valentine’s day SVG below this post.  When you upload the SVG file to Design Space make sure it uploaded the correct size of 7.396W x 6.585H. Next, Ungroup the SVG file and change the cut lines to score lines in the operation menu.  The U shape cut line will remain a cut line. Next, you can attach all mine to the pink shape underneath.

 

You can change the project colors to your liking or leave as is.  I used foil vinyl for my top layers and regular cardstock for the money sleeve template. I add the vinyl on the cover before I assemble the sleeve. You can use craft glue or tape runner to adhere the sleeve together.
