I will show you how to Make this Valentine’s Day Gift Card Holder, using my SVG file and Cricut Machine. In my video tutorial, you will see how to add a personalized message using Cricut Design Space and using the print then cut feature.
Below is a list of what you will need to make this paper craft for Valentine’s Day!
Make sure to watch my video instructions on how to prep this SVG in Design Space. Below you will find how I assembled this gift card holder once everything is cut and printed.
You should have the following pieces to complete my Love Letter Gift Card Holder. Envelope, heart seal, stamp and print then cut white letter insert. All you need to put this together is Bearly Art Craft Glue. Which I found to be the most effective when using with cardstock. It dries clear, has a strong hold and doesn’t cause your paper to bubble up.
Take your envelope piece and use a straight edge to fold over all the score lines. The top and bottom flaps will double score lines to hold the thickness of the gift card.
Fold over the tabs on the heart seal. Add a small amount of glue to the taps and place on the bottom outside flap, aligning to the top of the heart.
Place glue on the back of the stamp and add to the center square in the top right corner.
Next, fold over the score line on the letter insert as a z-fold. Add glue to the bottom back of the letter insert, and place in the center inside of the envelope. Allow all glue to dry for at least 5 minutes before use.
Lastly, just add in any standard gift card and fold it back up.
Closing the sides, then the bottom flap and slide the top flap into the heart seal. Place make sure all score line are folded properly for envelope to stay closed. Laying a paper weight over the closed envelope will help.
