Free DIY Hibiscus Flower SVG to Make Cup Wrap Template 

Make a cute hibiscus flower cup, using my cup wrap template. This free SVG is for a DIY vinyl cup that you can create with your Cricut machine. Supplies for Cup Wrap Template

• Cricut Machine
• Standard Grip Mat
• Fine Point Blade
• 16oz Soda Can Glass
• Permanent Vinyl, I used my favorite Teckwrap Craft vinyl
  • BUBBLE FREE CHROME: Begonia Rose, Lime Green
  • 001M series 10ft Craft Vinyl (Matte): Sweet Pink, Piggy Pink
• Transfer tape
• Cricut Scraper
• Weeding Pen
• Parchment Paper
• Hawaiian Flower SVG Wrap (bottom of post)

Size of Cup Wrap Template

For my Hawaiian Flower cup wrap template, you will need to make sure it uploads the correct size in Cricut Design Space. This wrap is designed to fit a 16oz soda can glass and be sized at 9.52×4.22in with the registration marks(boxes). For the PNG image for printing, just make sure the width is 9.52 inches.

How to Layer Cup Wrap Template

When you SVG template is ready to cut, trim your vinyl roll to the size you need using a blade cutter or scissors.

If you are using Teckwrap vinyl, make sure you peel of the clear plastic off the front of the vinyl before cutting. Place your vinyl on the mat and cut on Vinyl+.

Weed Vinyl

Once your layers are cut out, weed of the excess vinyl. Helps if you place one hand to hold down you decal and the other, to peel back your excess vinyl in the opposite direction.

Use your weeding pen to remove small pieces of vinyl on the tropical leaves.

Layer Vinyl

Once you have all your layers weeded, you can begin to layer them together. Start with the bottom hibiscus flower layer, and place the star flower centers on by hand since there are only 3 of them.

Next, lay down parchment paper to cover the entire bottom layer. Use transfer tape to lift the light pink smaller flower layer of it’s paper backing and place it on top of the parchment paper, lining it up with the box registration marks.

Lift the transfer tape up at one end and slip out the parchment paper, and press down the light pink layer down with a scraper. Once it is suck to the bottom decal, repeat the steps for the green layer, ending with all the layers on the transfer tape.

Apply to Cup

Wrap the decal around your soda can glass, with parchment paper in between. This will help you line it on the glass. Press decal down at one end , then remove the parchment paper and lay down the rest of the decal.

Press down firmly over entire decal, and then pull off the transfer tape.

Now, you can enjoy your tropical flower glass cup! For cup care instructions, make sure you wash by hand and let air dry. If you are gifting them to family or friends, you can include these cup care labels, made with Cricut Print then Cut.
